DESCRIPTION OF GOD IN LETTERS TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES

In Revelation, God asked John to write letters to each of the angels of the
seven churches.  At the beginning of the letter, God is described.  Herewith
are those descriptions as quoted from The Bible (RSV):

Ephesus (Rev. 2:1) - He "holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks
among the seven golden lampstands."
As stated in Rev. 1:20, "the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven lampstands are the   seven churches."

Syrmna (Rev. 2:8) - He is "the first and the last, who died and came to
life."
Who is the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega in Rev. 1:8?  He is the Lord God.  Who is He who died and came to life?  He is Jesus!  Jesus, therefore, is the Lord God.  He is God Himself.

Pergamum (Rev. 2:12) - He "has the sharp two-edged sword."
From Rev. 1:16, it states that "from his mouth issued a sharp two-edged sword."  What does this sharp two-edged sword represent that issues from His mouth?

Thyatira (Rev. 2:18) - He is "the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of
fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze."
Who is the Son of God?  He is Jesus.  Jesus is therefore God who asked John to write these letters.

This is how Jesus would look like when He returns on Judgment Day.  He would
not be meek anymore.  His "eyes will be like a flame of fire" because His
ire will be vented on those who did not listen to Him, who disobeyed His
commandments.  They will be meted the second death, that is, to be sent to
Hell and suffer there forever.

Sardis (Rev. 3:1) - He "has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars".
In Rev. 4:6, it states that in heaven "before the throne burn are seven
torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God."

Philadelphia (Rev. 3:7) - He is "the holy one, the true one, who has the key
of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens."

Laodicea (Rev. 3:14) - He is "the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the
beginning of God's creation."
Here is one name of God; He is the Amen.

Your comments on any of the above will help in understanding the hidden
meanings of these in the prophetic book of Revelation.
