Who fetches us when we die?

One of the certainties of life is dying, that is physical death. What happens when we die? Is there a soul that leaves the physical body? If there is a soul, what happens to it? Is it true that it is fetched by the Grim Reaper? If there is someone who fetches the soul, who is it?

Could you please share with us what you know about this subject matter, or what you or other people have experienced?

God bless us always.

Jesus fetches us when we die

NOTE: The following is what I posted on September 17, 1999 under the topic "Jesus fetches us when we die" after people have responded to my preliminary question of "Who fetches us when we die?"

Last month, I raised the question, "Who fetches us when we die?". Now I will tell you the answer and this answer is based on what the Holy Spirit said to me and several others.

It is Jesus who fetches us when we die. Not the Grim Reaper or an angel or a relative, etc. It is Jesus.

The Bible says in Matthew 24:36-44 (also in Mark 13:32-37, Luke 17:26-30, 34-36), "No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come--neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, the Father alone knows. ... Be on your guard, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. ... So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting Him."

Everyone will die physically. Do we know when we will die? No one knows. But since it is God who owns us solely, whenever He chooses to recall us, He can do so. And when He does, we die physically. And who will fetch us? As the Bible says, it is the Son of Man or it is Jesus. He "will come at an hour when you are not expecting Him."

This is wrongly interpreted by many people. They say that Jesus will return in the year 2000. Others say that there is "rapture" and use these verses, etc. to emphasize their point. However, the truth of the matter is that what is referred to in these verses is physical death which comes to anyone at an unknown day and hour. So we have to be ready always. And to be prepared, we have to know who God is and be obedient to His commandments. The Holy Spirit said that there are only two requirements for us to go to Heaven. They are:

1.

Accept, acknowledge and believe that Jesus Christ is true God AND true man.

2.

Follow His commandments.

And what are the commandments of Jesus?

a.

Love God with your whole heart, with your whole soul, with your whole mind and with your whole strength.

b.

Love your fellowmen like you love yourself.

If we meet these two requirements, whatever our religious affiliation is, we can enter the kingdom of God in Heaven. Religion is not a guarantee for one's entry to Heaven.

Now is the last day, according to the Holy Spirit. God is now harvesting the fruit of time which is us, the peoples of this world. God is reducing the population of this world. So more than ever, our death is nearer. As such, we have to be prepared and always be prepared. Anytime God recalls us, we must be ready. We may not have time to repent anymore and know God. So while there is still time, know and accept God and repent.

Last April 1999, the Holy Spirit told me to convey to the world that we have to change our wrong doings and change our wrong beliefs now. We better hurry up for death may overcome us. Please read the sermon of the Holy Spirit entitled "The King of kings" which I posted in these NGs. From it, you will read that it is Jesus who fetches us when we die.

God bless us always.
