Post 001

The book of Revelation of the Bible contains the revelation of Jesus Christ
to John. John recorded what he saw and heard while he was in the Spirit on
the Lord's day, in the isle of Patmos (Rev. 1:9-10). I wish to emphasize
that John was in the Spirit and not in his physical body when he witnessed
and recorded this revelation. I also wish to emphasize that at this
instance, Jesus was not as we know Him with flesh and bones but as a spirit.
So John and Jesus were in the Spirit then.

The verses in the Bible that prove that Jesus is God Himself (for this Part
1) can be found in the book of Revelation. These verses are 1:8, 1:11,
1:17-18, 22:13, 22:16. Herein, they are quoted from the Holy Bible, King
James Version, Red Letter Edition. All the verses mentioned except 1:8 are
printed in red in that KJV to signify that they are words said by Jesus. If you are using another version of the Bible, you will note that the verses are under quotation marks, meaning those were the spoken words of the speaker.

Rev. 1:8 - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the
Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Note: In this verse, it is the Lord or the Lord God who is speaking and He
stated that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending.
That Lord God is also the God who Jesus while in the flesh called as His

Rev. 1:11 - I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and What thou
seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in
Asia: unto Ephesus and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira,
and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Note: This was Jesus speaking to John instructing him to write what he
sees. John was in the Spirit (Rev. 1:10) when he received this instruction.
In this verse alone, we will know that the Lord or Lord God is none other
than Jesus Himself. This verse is printed in red, signifying that it is the
word of Jesus.

Rev. 1:17-18 - Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth,
and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen and have the keys of
hell and of death.
Note: Again, the Lord or Lord God stated that He is the first and the last.
This verse is printed in red, hence, it is the word of Jesus. Who is He who
lived and was dead and alive forever? Jesus! He lived as a human being
like us. He was crucified and He died. After three days, He resurrected
and was with the apostles for 40 days before ascending to Heaven seen by the
apostles and believers. And He said to John, "Behold, I am alive for
evermore." Will the apostle John not recognize that it was Jesus? And when
He comes back, He will judge all of us and send us to either Heaven or Hell.

Rev. 22:13 - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and
the last.
Note: Again, the Lord or Lord God reiterated that He is the Alpha and
Omega. Like verses 1:11, 17-18, this verse is printed in red. This means
that it was Jesus who said this.

Rev. 22:16 - I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things
in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright
and morning star.
Note: Here it is! The Lord or Lord God has revealed who He is. He is
Jesus! This is the reason why this particular book of the Bible is called
Revelation. God revealed that He is Jesus. And to make it clear that He is
the same Jesus that John believe in and not any other Jesuses, He said that
He is the root and the offspring of David. Who is the root of David? God.
Who is the offspring of David? Jesus for He is from the lineage of David.

Has anyone dared to tamper this book? Has anyone added or taken out
anything from this book? Most likely not for fear of what is said in Rev.
22:18-19, to wit: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of
the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall
add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall
take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away
his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book."

If you agree that this proof is logical and believable, then please pass
this on to all who believe and also to those who do not believe that Jesus
is God Himself. If you don't agree, please rethink and review your belief
because in order to go to Heaven, according to the Holy Spirit, you have to
meet only two requirements:
1) Accept and believe that Jesus Christ is true God AND true man, and
2) Follow His commandments.
The belief in Jesus is as true man AND true God. It is AND. It is not OR.
Whatever our religious affiliation is, if we meet these requirements, we
will be assured of the salvation of our soul. We will be rewarded to live
with God in Heaven forever. It is forever in Heaven. How pitiful for those
who will suffer in Hell forever.

So while there is still time, very little time, while our soul is still in
the physical body, we have to change for the better. Change our wrong ways.
Change our wrong beliefs. For if death comes to us and we do not meet the
two requirements, then we know what the sentence of Jesus would be to us.
So, do it now. The decision depends upon our own self. The choice rests
upon us.

I will post other Biblical proofs that Jesus is God Himself a little later.
I found that these verses from Revelation are the strongest proofs of the
divinity of Jesus. Appropriately enough, the proof was presented in the
final book of the Bible--the book of Revelation--which seems to finally
settle once and all the question.
